The Lehrle residence - A very nice split-level pole home with a hill-top view in Castle Circuit, Umina.

By pole house standards this was a fairly level building block with good access. We've certainly had much more difficult sites than this one.
Still, there was a large sewer main running through the block which had to be concrete encased, several trees to be removed and a lot of rock outcrops which made drilling the poles holes somewhat problematic.
We came up with a nice design which suited the site restrictions and gave the owners plenty of scope to add their own design tastes as well.
Great views from the massive decks over the Ettalong & Umina townships and Umina/Ocean Beach, and across to Lobster Beach and Broken Bay.
All in all a very pleasing project for owners and builders.
