This is our largest and most complex project in recent years. One of the best deep water frontage properties on the Central Coast, looking out to the Rip Bridge to the east and Pretty Beach to the west. It doesn't get any better! A project completed for very discerning and understanding clients, and which challenged the whole BuildFlex team.

There's simply too many superlatives you could use to describe this residence. An amazing design by Frank Macchia and the Macchia Design Studio takes full advantage of the natural beauty of the site. The construction is extensively featured with darkly stained "Accoya" treated pine as the external cladding to most of the house, and with polished concrete floors throughout the interior - even in the bathrooms. The home is a very energy & thermally efficient household, with a large solar panel + battery installation and hydronically heated floor slabs. |
The owners bought the property with an existing weatherboard house on the site. It was quite OK as a holiday home or a rental proposition, but it obviously had to be demolished for the new construction. There is so much intense detail in the design and construction of this prestigious residence that we will just let the slide-show images speak for themselves. See the images above of how the construction was commenced and progressed, and view some of the stunning images of the partially completed interior and the initial establishment of external landscaping below.
When the project is challenging, BuildFlex provides Your Flexible Building Solutions!
Here's a few preliminary and random images of the project nearing completion, and the initial landscaping layouts. Some simple photos taken with an iPhone, but they give you an idea of the superb detail and level of finish which which was provided. Who you gunna call? |

Testimonial by the Owner, Greg Lomax:
"Buildflex won the contract on our building, a substantial and beautifully designed house in Booker Bay, and undertook the project on a cost plus contractual basis. The project was completed in February 2018. The materials and design utilised an innovative approach by the design company, matching our requirements and customising the building to be in total harmony with the aspect and waterfront location. It was by no means an easy project to undertake as the design by Frank Macchia and his team called on a unique design with special treated Accoya timber used across the building. Wayne Wheeler and his BuildFlex team applied their experience and formidable skills to build our beautiful home and we are absolutely delighted with the result. They met all the challenges that arose with such a detailed building with enthusiasm and determination. We are delighted with the house Buildflex has constructed. Dealing with Wayne has always been quite easy. He is approachable, available and in possession of a skill set that enables him to deal more than competently with the myriad trades involved with a complex project."
