One of our recently completed major projects, this is our second waterfront project in the Booker Bay Area which is quickly becoming one of the premier suburbs of the beautiful Central Coast. This one has an absolute beach frontage with a southerly aspect looking across to Pretty Beach, Wagstaffe and Half Tide Rocks..... and of course "The Box"! Walk out from your front deck onto the golden sands of the beach for a leisurely walk around the Ettalong, Booker Bay and Umina/Ocean Beach shorefronts.
Magnificent! Does it get any better? Nope!
A complex architect designed project which was completed for discerning clients with a very clear vision of what the finish & detail for their "Hampton Beach House" will be. Another challenging & rewarding project for the BuildFlex team.

Leo and Lillian bought this property several years ago with the intention of modifying the existing brick & fibro cottage and turning it into a "Hamptons Style" beach house. The old residence consisted of an original fibro cottage which had had quite a few additions over the years and was badly in need of improvement. But the location, location, location was unmatched! The new design called for some of the existing structure to be retained, but the condition of the components and the tremendous amount of asbestos in the old building made this almost impossible, and we ended with virtually none of the original building remaining. |
See the major demolition process in the images above.
When the project is challenging, BuildFlex provides Your Flexible Building Solutions!
Progressive images shown in the slide-show on the right of the ongoing construction through to completion. Very proud Builders and happy Owners! Who you gunna call? |

Thoughts of the Builder (Wayne Wheeler) on undertaking these challenging jobs:
"While I am a carpenter by trade and have always loved woodworking and being on the tools, jobs of this magnitude and complexity pretty much remove any opportunity for me to spend significant amounts of time wearing a nail bag these days, and for running the carpentry crew on site. Also, I am now getting too old to be the physically effective & productive pace-setter that I used to be.
On the other hand, I have personally trained all of our "gun" carpentry crew to be fast, efficient and focussed, as well as being comprehensively adaptable to all construction disciplines..."

More to be added to my thoughts above as I prepare for retirement and our succession planning. WW
