This is what pole houses are all about! Custom designed solutions to enhance spectacular views and locations, whilst overcoming the extraordinary physical challenges which many of these sites can present. All materials were brought up the river by barge. Everything was carried up to the site by hand, except for the 8.0m building poles which were winched up the slope using an old belt-driven windlass on the barge. A gruelling, labour-intensive job on which we all earned our money the hard, hard way. However, the end result was a stunning waterside retreat which is virtually irreplaceable these days. Happy owners - proud & satisfied builders. |
Testimonial by John Heytman:
"Dear Wayne.
I am writing this letter to you to express our extreme satisfaction with the building & design works carried out by your company.
Although there were considerable challenges & difficulties in transporting materials to the site the house was completed in very good time. Most everyone who visits us is highly complimentary of the workmanship, but perhaps most importantly Judy and I are very pleased with the end result.
Good luck in your new venture. If any of your new clients should care to contact us I would be most happy to provide a suitable reference.
Yours sincerely.
