I don't think Anne was intending to buy a property when she visited the small community of Summerland Point with her girlfriend.

However, she poked her head into the local real estate agent for a sticky beak and they showed her some details of this property on the other side of the bay at Kingfisher Shores. Look it up on Google - We had to!

Before she knew it she was negotiating prices and arranging finance, and within a few short days Anne was on the way to owning her dream holiday property on the Central Coast.

What she had purchased was a modest but very tidy little two bedroom cottage on an outstanding block of land, and which was already tenanted by a very nice couple who were looking after the property superbly. Right from the start Anne knew exactly what she was going to do with the cottage, right down to the smallest details of kitchen finishes, bathroom fitouts and furniture arrangements. Her husband Anatol just smiled and came along for the ride. Don't we all? But who to trust with this daunting renovation & extension project?

First of all came the formalities of architectural drawings and Council applications etc. Based on Anne's vision and direction, our friends at CEO Architectural came up with an excellent set of design drawings and the project was soon progressing rapidly under the care and control of the BuildFlex crew.
The old cottage had very low ceilings throughout which needed to be raised to a respectable 2.7 metres high, and a new Colourbond roof was to be pitched over the newly created additions and merged across the existing profile of the house. There were of course the usual unexpected issues to be resolved and rebuilt as we progressed, including poorly constructed frames, termite damage and rusted steel floor posts. All in a day's work for the BuildFlex crew!
